Also Pippin: *causes Gandalf to become Gandalf the White* *Frodo and Sam leave the Fellowship and go to Mordor on their own because of Gandalf's absence* *which then causes the Three Hunters go after Merry and Pippin, ultimately reuniting them with Gandalf; from there they go to Edoras, where Gandalf heals Theoden, and because of their presence (caused by Pippin) The Battle at Helm's Deep was won* *Merry and Pippin meet Treebeard, leading to The Battle of The Ents, thus destroying Isengard* *Pippin looks into the Palantir, discovering Sauron's plans to attack Minas Tirith* *Minas Tirith is saved, and they then create a diversion for Frodo and Sam* *Middle-Earth is saved, Pippin and Sam are greatly underrated*
