Nobody will forget the time when the craziest inning in MLB history happened. 2015 ALDS, Blue Jays and Rangers, Game 5, Top the 7th. Odor leads off the inning and gets on base. He eventually gets to third base with two outs. Then something insane happens. As Choo is getting ready to hit, he extends his bat over the plate, and when Martin throws back to the pitcher, the ball deflects off the Choo’s bat down the third base line, allowing Odor score. After minutes of reviewing, the umps decide it is indeed a scoring run. The Blue Jays get out of the inning with a fire that has been lit inside of them. In the bottom half of the inning, the Rangers make three horrible errors that would be routine plays and get them out of the inning without any damage, but as we know, they make three straight errors on two groundouts and a pop out that load the bases with 0 outs. The pitcher Dyson at this point is just flat out frustrated with his defense as he kept in and on an 0-1 count, it all comes back to bite the Rangers. Dyson throws a fastball right down broadway and Bautista belts it deep down left field and the Blue Jays go up 6-3 along with an iconic bat flip as shown in the image above. The Blue Jays go on to win the game 6-3 and tied 2-2in the series, they win the incredible series in stunning fashion. Unfortunately, the Royals best the Blue Jays in the ALCS 4-2 and the Blue Jays season comes to an end.
