Well, there was no one before them, right, and belly buttons are a result of the cutting of the umbilical cord, which is from the womb, Adam and Eve were CREATED, not birthed (I didn't know how to phrase it). Therefore, unless God poked their stomachs and made belly buttons, they didn't have belly buttons.

I would say there’s some logic in there, but it would be hard to just assume that, and even when you do, it’s not even really that funny

Oh yeah if you look at this through a scientific approach, they did have belly buttons, because humans evolved from Homo Erectus, which obviously had to give birth to the first human.
