There is little choice in our current system, as many doctors are not “in network.” The choice you do have is which rapacious mafia middleman can rip you off. Medicare for all actually gives most people a net tax deduction because private taxes like copays, premiums and deductibles are eliminated. History suggests that most physicians do not opt out of Medicare. If healthcare is so cutting edge and innovative, why is the US the worst out of 11 developed countries in terms of quality of care? 45,000 to 68,000 people in the US die from lack of healthcare every year, substantially more than in other developed nations from waiting lines.
