Haha! Guess you didn't expect that. Malaysia was colonised by the British soon after WWII. So we follow the Birtish system, including the use and spelling of English words. Ethnicity wise, I'm Chinese but my citizenship is Malaysian. We are different from the Chinese from China, culturally and liguistically.
