Well in the case of seatbelts, yeah you need to wear them cause it could potentially protect others and it ain't gonna hurt you. I don't even think about it, it's just a habit.
Now um, if this is something that is being applied to the current state of things...I live in one of the states with a crazy governor who's been trying to trample all over our rights...that's not for the greater good of society.
