We don't know for sure that the shut down has actually stopped anyone from getting the virus. We have destroyed peoples lives, the economy, ruined peoples businesses and allowed the government the ability to circumvent our constitutional rights at will. All this for a disease with a 0.45% chance of contracting and a 98% chance of survival if you get it.
