Okay, so the kids books are just about two different kids, then one of them ends up moving in one of the books to the same town as the other. A bunch of events happen, ending in them becoming superheroes, which the following books are more middle-school level. Then the last three have plot lines I don't even know how to describe, and are young-adult books.
The novella is about a city of love, where there are people who have no senses except for love.
