The Silmarillion is (in my opinion) the best fantasy novel ever written.

Ok, quick question, HOW CAN YOU CALL YOURSELF A TOLKIEN FAN AND NOT KNOW WHAT THE SILMARILLION IS??? I'm rereading it rn actually, haha.

I would reread it too, but I'm too busy reading Return of the Shadow.

I got it for Christmas. Between me and my dad, we have all the History of Middle-Earth series except for the last one (The Peoples of Middle-Earth).

I only wish I had all of them, even without The Peoples of Middle-Earth. I only have the Silmarillion, and both the Books of Lost Tales, although I have read Sauron Defeated because a friend lent it to me

Hmm... Do you have a used book store near where you live? That's where my dad got the first three.

Some, but they are all closed right now and I have only found copies of The Hobbit, the Lord of the Rings, the Silmarillion, and a Tolkien Dictionary.

Hmm... Does your local Christian bookstore have them? Or perhaps your local library has them? Have you looked on eBay/Amazon?

No, my local Christian bookstore closed:(, my local library only has the trilogy and the hobbit, and not extensively on eBay/ Amazon, shipping is either too much or it's unreliable(have lost too many things through the mail) I'm not giving up though, I will read them and own them and smell the yellowed pages or my username isn't Pirate_melon_

Alright. I did find book 12 for approximately $25 on Amazon (though I haven't bought it yet), so I thought you might want to check there. But either way, good luck finding them!
