You shouldn’t really have to worry about copyright on Imgflip at all. Any image templates you use are most likely going to be established templates (Bad Luck Brian, Woman Yelling at Cat, etc...), public figures (celebrities, politicians, Youtubers,...) or your personal content (photos, videos, artwork you created). Established templates and public figures fall under fair use, so anyone is free to use them to make memes as long as you’re not monetizing them, I believe. Obviously you don’t have to ask yourself for permission to use your own content. If you were to use content that doesn’t fall under any of these categories however, I would still say you’re in the clear. Worst case scenario, the copyright owner would get in contact with us and we would just remove the specified content. I don’t recall that ever happening though as long as I have been on the site.

Hopefully this helps you get a better idea of what to be aware of. Feel free to ask any questions if you’re still unsure and I’ll do what I can to make sure you get the best answer possible.

You shouldn’t have anything to worry about. We would give you plenty of warning if you violate copyright since it’s not a subject many people are well versed in. I’ve never seen anyone get so much as a post deleted, much less their account over the issue.

Hey long time no see. I’m doing all right, you? As for the family gathering, I would talk with anonymously deleted about it. My community mod duties take up most of my Imgflip time, so I wouldn’t be able to plan it out myself. Plus del is the one mostly in charge of the stream so what she says goes over there. Otherwise I think it would be a good idea. Help get to know some of the people in the family especially since it’s expanded so much.

I don't do photography a lot, but I get some decent pictures in when I can. For example, this is the US side of the US-Canada border a couple winters back.

Ah, I see. Ancient Egypt was always really fascinating to me, it would be be cool to see the Pyramids or the Sphinx sometime. I’m in Wisconsin to be exact, it’s beautiful here this time of year.

Eh, personally I think the big cities are overrated, the spirit of America is in small town life if you ask me. I always dread when I have to go down to Milwaukee or Chicago, it's so jam packed and unfriendly. Minneapolis pre-riots was pretty chill for a big city though, not so much nowadays. I've been to Canada before, I'd definitely go back for a vacation.

Canada? I went to Thunder Bay on a fishing trip. Lots of waterfalls and forests, saw quite a few bears too, definitely recommend it if you're into nature.

Hm, that's weird. I'm not sure what the prices are in Britain, but you can get a small bag of chips over here for a dollar and I know a US Dollar is worth less than a UK pound.
