Donald Trump was soft on China when it mattered. Attacking them now is just reelection noise. It's too late.

If trump had principled stance against China, he wouldn’t have believed them in the first place because they are an authoritarian country. Notice how the moment trump started losing control of the pandemic in the us, he starts to deflect all blame to China. I highly doubt that trump actually follows the WHO and the CDC.

Nice straw man. I never even mentioned the tariffs at all in my comment. If Trump “always” has a tough and skeptical stance on China, why would he blindly believe Chinas’s numbers, praising their response multiple times? The fact that he imposed tariffs on China is completely irrelevant to my point and doesn’t refute my point on trump being inconsistent in regards to Chinese foreign policy.
