....? The whole the point is that we've got people exposed already and it's climbing. That's not the issue at all! Take a look at the numbers being reported - CLEARLY exposure isn't the issue. The issue is that we need to control it: if everyone gets sick at the same time, people die from lack of care facilities.

The exposure is going to happen! And it will not take that long! But if we rush it, five times more people die than a virus like this has any right to kill.

You've got this wrong: the people staying indoors are the ones staying calm. It's the ones rushing outside who are freaking out beyond reasonable proportion.

It's a new disease and we have no collective resistance to it.

Your chance of death is not the issue! It's the people you give the disease to for the two weeks it takes for you to build up an immunity when you get it!

Nobody cares that you scored 1% - we have people who scored 60 or 70%. We have people who are 100% - they absolutely WILL die if infected; you want to talk about living in fear? THEY ARE TERRIFIED. And I'm happy to stay indoors for them while our resistance builds up and the spread becomes that of diseases we're much more used to.

2nd off according to the website I put in the worst possible outcomes and it only rose to a 26% chance of death.

3rd you can’t build resistance to a disease if you haven’t been exposed to it. What do you think a vaccine is?

4th Living in fear is not and never will be worth it. If you doubt me ask someone who was in a Nazi concentration camp. Or the citizens of North Korea.

5th Herd immunity or as you called it “collective resistance” only works if enough people have contracted the virus.
