I was expecting them to be stacked in a Tetris-like wall but this is also ok.

Came up with a square OC. He's mostly grumpy and stubborn, but he does help other people. He does apear 3-D in this comic, but it also still works if he's in 2-D. He might have to be 2-D, because then he wouldn't be square.
He'd be cubed.
