The Post Office is in this position because of congressional acts in 2006 regarding supplying retirement 50+ years in advance. It had nothing to do with the Postmaster General or board of governors; congress buried them. Trump hates them, because of their business dealings with the owner of the Washington Post, who owns Amazon.
