These symbols are rotational and reflective transforms of one and other. A transform is a geometric operation, invariably for most of us, within a plane surface. If we restrict the discussion to printed symbols in language it is easy to disprove the sameness assertion. To do so requires a comparison to palindromes. Palindromes are words that read forwards and backwards the same. So these words have a very specific transforms called biradial symmetry. The comparison here from words to letters would be 'i', 'l', 'o', 't', 'v', 'x' and 'w'. But some words are reflections that are not palindromes. Such words are 'not' and 'ton'; only one example needs to disprove assertion. 'Not'' means to negate a meaning and 'ton' is a measure of weight. Then the reflective nature of non-palindromic letter transforms allows differing sub-meanings the same way as non-palidromic word transforms.
