Well, it was really my mum who decided. My teacher rang her up on first week of quarantine asking if I could do online school or not. Since I'm easy to stress out and have a anxiety attack, online school would only put even more stress into me, causing me to have severe problems with my emotions, so my mum decided no.
To be honest, the special unit would stress me out to the breaking point if they gave me TRIPLE the amount of homework. (Special unit is, in my opinion, a living Hell. You're basically forced to relearn skills that you already learnt, meaning that they give you work from PRIMARY school.
You can't really talk to your mainstream friends in play or lunch. Reason? They have a yard only for special unit kids, and a lunch table for you guessed it, kids in special class. They do this to stop bullying, but technically, it makes kids feel like outcasts. And it doesn't stop bullying in special unit anyway, because bullying ALREADY happens in special unit, and no matter how hard teachers try to stop it, it never stops.
I'm sorry for ranting like that. I just had to get it out of my chest
