PUPPY MILLS/AMISH

Every time someone buys a dog from them, they are putting money in the pockets of the puppy mill and giving them permission and a reason to keep torturing these animals. I agree with GhostWolfe, 100%. I understand wanting to help the poor puppy mill dogs, but it's a perpetual cycle of torture each time someone buys on of the dogs.

No, you're ensuring that a puppy mill has money and a reason to continue mill-breeding. The pups should be rehomed at the mill-breeder's expense. If you feel puppy lives matter, you would be agreeing with this meme.

I guess you missed the part where I said we need stricter laws and to enforce them - like in how you’d have to make a law to force the mills to rehome them. So...since there are no laws to force a breeder to rehome them, what are you suggesting to do with all the pups already on the market? Kill them? Let them grow old in a cage? NO puppy should be sacrificed over a human battle, not a single one, ever.

You're missing the point. No one but YOU is suggesting that these puppies shouldn't be rescued. The argument isn't about saving their lives, because that's what we all want, despite your strawmanning; it's about doing so in a way that prevents even more puppies being bred.

Again, if there’s no law forcing the breeders to rehome the pups...what do you do with them?
