Yeah but the Slytherins were intentionally made douchebags in the books. Not a SINGLE ONE is redeemable. Then they made Pottermore and shit so they had to put them in a good light, which is why they made Albus a Slytherin.

He's one of my favorites! I really like how he doesn't discriminate people for what there house is. And that's kind of a first in HP. (Besides Luna, of course.)

Also, people say they’re bad because none stayed to fight at the battle of hogwarts. But did you ever think that they would be dueling their loved ones? Imagine fighting a battle with a death eater and finding out it’s your mom.
