What's up with the roleplay stuff?

We have extremely active imaginations and take it out as characters. And there are different reasons for different people and roleplays.

Well thanks for the input! It's something new to me. I used to play dress up and be a princess with my friends irl which to me seems more fun than typing frantically on a meme site back and forth with anonymous users about some characters in my head. But you guys carry on :)

Why do adults (not all of them, mostly ones I met) say shit like there generation was better. I'm sure the generation before them thought that too. But why do they get butthurt if we use technology? I mean, it's our generation after all.

That's a great question. And I think you're right, everyone no matter their age will probably say life or the world was better when they were growing up. I think too the generation before mine (possibly your parents and grandparents) have a fear of technology because it's relatively new and it's constantly changing and advancing so once we get used to the iphone 3 number 27 is already out. I think the lockdown and dependency on technology to do just about everything even attend church has made all generations have to adapt. I think too young people don't realize the dangers involved in being on the internet. Basically to me at least giving a child an unlocked phone would be equivalent to dropping that same kid off at the Bronx subway and just let them fend for themselves. Mentally you might be scarred for life from the things you can find online and you may put yourself in danger from the predators that are online without you knowing. That's why we want to protect you, because we love you and want what's best.

I agree. Even though there are things children shouldn't be on, the internet has helped. Especially in times like this infinite knowledge from the internet is 100% necessary.

I wouldn't say it has infinite knowledge probably 90% of what you find on the internet has to be taken with a grain of salt. I think broke would be fine without it, maybe even better off when we actually had to read books and things in print and were limited to getting news from actual researchers and journalist rather than rely on twitters and Facebook posts or Google searches like we do now.

Ok my top three:
1. Why tf do you treat us like little kids, yet expect us to act like mature adults?
2. Why do you always think you know best or you're better? I mean seriously. You say something like "global warming is a hoax" and get mad when we share our thoughts. "I'm the adult I know best" cut the bull crap! (Just saying- I know not all adults think that global warming is a hoax but that's just what I could think of)
3. Why do you always tell us to not grow up? Ok, yeah, I get it. Adulting's hard. Why are you complaining to me? Why are you telling me about it? Why do you say to not wish to grow up?

Lol. I think kids especially need to realize that our parents are human, too. You do the same kind of weird crap that I do.

My teacher wanted us to get writing in a zoom meeting just now. I didn’t have any paper other than a thin strip of cardboard, and I’d already did the weeks work in advance. But she told me to turn video on. So I was forced to write on the thin(not to mention GLOSSY, causing smudges) piece of cardboard, because going to another app turns vid off
