As something set up by Imgflip admin, it probably would never happen. However as something set up by Imgflippers for Imgflippers, I could potentially see it happening. I could look into setting up a big meetup in the Chicago area once coronavirus wraps up.

I imagine if a Chicago or other meetup is successful, there will be other meetups across the country and potentially Europe as well.

He's AvgJoeShmoe now right? I doubt I could make a Chicago meet, but it's a really cool idea. Not a lot of Imgflippers have met. Have any recently since I've been gone?

I would be down to attend a meetup in Vegas or Cali, but no way I’m planning it. I would say the best place to have one out there would be Santa Barbara since that’s where Imgflip HQ is.

True, but idk if a very many people know the commenting on unsubmitted images. I could be totally wrong though, I haven't been active in a long time.

Why does the layout look like it's from 2003?

Eh... seems a little pointless to me to be honest. We could do that on an Imgflip stream. The layout and stuff is just... pretty bad. Cool clinkster's there though.

It’s a more secure alternative to the commenting on an unsubmitted image, plus you can make memes in the chat, so it does have its perks.

It definitely would be cool to do. Chicago makes the most sense to me since there seems to be a few Imgflippers within the area, plus it’s a central location for the US and Canadian Imgflippers to get to.

I would probably go. You can meet some of the users, too. That would be kinda cool, seeing that you could be better friends with them.

History must not repeat itself. The idea does seem appealing, yes, but only to those who have never heard the all-too-true story of Dashcon.

It would be super cool and definitely a lot of fun!!! My parents would NEVER let me go, but it probably wouldn't happen for a few years anyway.
