Nope, I find that some of my best software comes to me in dreams. On more than one occasion I've woken up with an entire solution mapped out, and spend my morning typing out code that works immediately.

imagination is something we need continuously. I'd be fascinated to hear how they recognize their parents or siblings. how do they recognize their friends or their house or their car if they can't compare to internal images? i can't relate to it.
