Definitely it was not God's will. Such a understanding of God is portraying Him as a most bloodthirsty god of gods taking pleasure from the deaths of His own son. You have no understanding of God, Jesus, or the Bible if you believe what you wrote. READ YOUR BIBLE! This has nothing to do with being "morbid" or " bloodthirsty". For more READ YOUR BIBLE!
I am only an imperfect Christian and don't claim to be an expert of any kind...however, I have spoken with many who know more about God, Jesus, and the Scriptures and their tutelage has helped me to understand what you don't.
