You know what would really help? If you comment on a meme, the meme is automatically upvoted. That would also cut down on hate commenters and such since they wouldn't want to upvote just to comment something mean.

To be fair what if the meme is disrespecting the streams rule(s) and you're only commenting on it to ask the person to stop. Then it would get annoying at some point.

That's the point. Eventually, they will learn that it is a good thing to do and would make conversations with older users (which is most of Imgflip) nicer and they would adapt better to the community.
