how can there be 20 dimensions-

oh in this case dimension is the power they possess for example 3d beings can only do normal tasks while as a 6th dimensional being can doing everything that is bellow them (3rd 4th and 5th) but can also create rifts in time traveling to alternate realitys which is a different dimension definition Cryptic is pretty much god (not an actual god like void) so he has a frick ton of powers

But wait....Bill Cipher is from the second dimension and.........HE'S FREAKING POWERFUL!
