I know several LGBT people who lived through the AIDS crisis during Reagan who reject the Deep State theory, so, try again.

The State Department was heavily involved in the whole Russia fraud and conspiracy. They've lost a lot of trust since then, to say the least. An official apology would go a long way, but I'm not expecting that any time soon.

People who have actually been targeted for destruction by their own government are not impressed by your whining. "Deep State" is anyone in the federal bureaucracy you don't like and your repeated attempts to blow administrative discretion out of proportion with no evidence is everything that the public hates about you.
