I've been thinking about my 2 week break I've just got because of my school is closed (due to protecting students from getting the Coronavirus). The good news is that it will get my mind off of trying to perfect my grades (so far I got all A's except one because it's a B). The bad news is that the students won't be back until March 30th and we were supposed to do our ACT on March 24th.
I see. I'm sure the school closings are going to disrupt alot of things for students, teachers and parents. I suppose the government thinks it will help. Hopefully it's just a short term disruption. Are your parents putting pressure on you to get straight A's or a goal you have made for yourself?
I made that goal myself actually, I always wanted to get straight A's but no matter how hard I try, I accidently slip up a little and it drops down to a B (always one little slip). My parents think as long as I try, that's all it matters.
I graduated summa cum laude in college and was on dean's list all 4 years and had many scholarships and awards and didn't have straight A's Not to brag but to show you you don't need straight A's to succeed in the world. Heck I got a D in chemistry and my dad is a doctor in chemistry, lol. Not that you shouldn't try to do well but please don't stress out about it and beat yourself up. A B is still a good grade. (I'm a teacher, trust me on this one)
