IS MORMONISM THE SAME AS VISITING A MODERN-DAY PSYCHIC? In the United States, a very successful celebrity psychic or medium annually earns over $5,000,000. A reasonably successful psychic makes $500,000. And if those celebrity psychics keep it up, one day their combined income might come close Mormonism’s earnings of $22 million PER DAY! Is it harsh to compare Mormonism to psychics? Well, psychics claim to have new information (new revelations) for us. They also say they can predict the future. How about Mormonism? From their founder on through their entire existence, Mormonism has professed that their prophets, like their founder, Joseph Smith, routinely receive so-called new revelations from God, for us. And Mormonism claims Smith and the other prophets have been able to predict the future. Of course their track record is as bad as that of psychics. Still, Mormonism rakes in $22 million per day as they rip people off, just like the psychics do. In Deuteronomy 18, God tells us not to have anything to do with spiritists and mediums, which includes modern-day psychics and Mormonism.
