The problem with Bernie is that he’s too radical for the majority of the people. Bernie will not win the south, the only one he could win is Florida and possibly Virginia, Virginia being a stretch.

Thank you for your feedback. He is painted as a radical but his ideas are not radical at all for most people. Stereotypes and negative campaigns against people have a lasting effect on perception.

Establishment Democrats and nearly all republicans fought to hide what his platform is really about and smear him with lies. Because he is a threat to them, not us. Right now with the Covid-19 crisis the rest of the world is looking at us shaking their heads at the president’s response but also at our whole social system- schools, healthcare etc. I live in Seattle and we are Coronavirus ground zero and I watched Bernie’s speech today about his recommendations and they are thorough and specific and speak to the exact needs of this crisis. Biden’s speech today about the same thing said he had a plan and to go to his website to check it out. The leadership we need is with Bernie but people don’t seem willing or patient enough to really sit down and think about it or give him a fair chance.

How do you feel about the fact the US has the highest incarceration rate in the entire world and that the prison system is privatized? How doe you feel that an innocent man was just executed and he is far from the first? How about when an innocent man is gunned down by an officer “accidentally” breaking in his home? You went to a shitty school my friend. I feel bad for you.

The problem with Bernie is not his leadership, but rather his economic policy. History repeats itself often. Cubans were offered freedom from their dictatorship, only for it to turn out to be communism.

His economic policy is actually incredibly sound. Bernie Sanders isn’t a dictator, isn’t proposing a dictatorship. Lol- I see you’ve been eating your corporate media for breakfast lunch and dinner. It’s too bad your “sources” are actually just a media conglomerate made up of about 4 billionaire corporations. That is who will pay higher taxes-because they don’t pay- and that is who wants you talking about Bernie Sanders and Cuba. Smh.

If a person brings up Cuba or Venezuala what they are showing is they never had the opportunity for a good education, or if they had the opportunity it may have been wasted. Because anybody who would compare Cuba, a country WE have economically crippled for decades through the embargo would hear their own bizarre logic.

It is especially true, that these comments about Cuba, are bizarre (and probably racist) if people don’t bring up any other country with democratic socialism like Canada, Finland, or even Bolivia if they insist on staying in lattice America and singularly focusing on “socialism”. Some are just a certain demographic of boomers who were raised under a “red scare” psychologically and their parents didn’t raise them to think critically. Most of them have had kids and grandkids now.

It’s clear the problem with Bernie is only people who prefer “the problem with Bernie” for discourse.

Tell me your assessment on the problem with Trump. And how about the problem with Biden...

Smart people and real people who have a conscious and love for this country and the people here know the deal. Maybe you’d like complete devastation instead. We have a national pandemic and a corrupt, price fixed health care system that many Americans don’t even have access to. As Covid-19 progresses, people will see how bad it can really get. You must bet one of the lucky ones with full healthcare coverage that is affordable to you and you must not have any really vulnerable people in your life to take such a bizarre and calloused stance with your politics.

Stopped reading when you said socialist masters... and decided to skip to your conclusion statement...underwhelming.

It’s ok, whenever you decide to crawl out from your rock, logic and reason will still be here. I live in Seattle and we are getting it done. I am a parent and grandparent. For all I know, you still live in your parent’s basement. Tell me more about gulags lol. Cold oatmeal and hard work? Totally where we are headed with that pesky socialism. Just ask the people in Finland about their democratic socialism and how much they hate it.

The caps are fine, and I understand the limits of this platform make your caps needed when you can’t do the heavy lifting with your own intellect. Buzzwords, msnbc/fox/cnn soundbites and anything else you need to throw in there to try and make a point you can’t even make. Do you want to borrow my kitchen sink?

My feelings are fine. I do worry about yours though. For emphasis I’d say you’re an IDIOT of the HIGHEST DEGREE and I hope you seek out some higher education when the free option comes along. You could use a cognitive boost. Take care.

Tell me one example on where socialism has succeeded. And don’t say Canada our Scandinavia. They are democracies with welfare plans, not Socialists.

Before we go further, how about you “tell me” somethings. I have asked you some questions. And I have responded to the thoughts you have shared. It would be decent for you to address the “tell me” questions I asked you before demanding I tell you more. I’m happy to respond to your statement/question and if this is actual dialog then you need to answer some of mine as well. Looking forward to your response, and the questions are below:

Tell me your assessment on the problem with Trump. And how about the problem with Biden?

Thanks.

The problem with Biden is that he can’t remember anything correctly He also said “I don’t work for you” to a voter and also called them full of $#*!.
Trump has done a good job up to this point. The economy was doing well, unemployment hit record lows, he got NATO to do their fair share. Trump has declared a national emergency which was probably the best move to stay on the safe side.

And the problem is that power tends to corrupt. Robespierre of the French Revolution went from someone who wants to improve France to a ruthless dictator who killed thousands. This could happen to anyone, including Trump.

Also, Cuba was an example. A similar thing happened to Russia where the Communist promised the things to peasants: Peace, Bread, and land, and they ended up setting up a dictatorship and not delivering on maybe peace, but they land all belonged to the government and you couldn’t always get food.

I do believe that there are extremists in the Republican Party. I don’t like the “If you are Democrat you aren’t Christian” or “ If you vote against Trump you ate going to H-E-🏒-🏒.” or the Racists off the party. I also believe that AntiFA is a terrorist organization. They attack unarmed people over a hat or shirt. Both sides have those problems.

Thanks for the response. It does seem Biden has some issues with cognitive function and may very well be into the moderate stages of dementia. The public doesn’t know/care because the media has avoided making Biden’s cognitive assessments a matter of important discourse.

Trump has been a pathological liar and a fraud during his time in office. That’s why a huge majority here knows the problem with Trump is that is the President and he is corrupt. He lied to the public repeatedly about Coronavirus and disbanded the WH pandemic office causing spread and unnecessary death. I live in Seattle. We are ground zero- with the first large group of deaths and all schools currently closed until the END of APRIL....Coming to a City near you (unless you are just a foreign bot-then you are safe lol). When asked about closing the office, Trump said it was a “nasty question” 💃🏻 And then he said he didn’t “know anything about it” 🕺🏼 That’s a problem with Trump. There’s so many....this comment could go on forever.

The extremists in both parties do indeed have problems. Unfortunately the extremists on the right/far right have a lot of social and institutional power. That is a problem.

Corruption is what damages socialism. But the thing is, corruption damages everything. It damages democracy. It damages capitalism. It is corruption that is damaging. And Bernie Sanders is not a corrupt person or politician and he has dedicated most of his life to politics and has shown us this. His 8+ hour speech about health care in the senate floor reignited a national PUBLIC conversation about health care in the US outside of the controls in DC...and people have been fighting for that since. And we are ready for that change- especially when there is a pandemic on our doorstep.

You asked where “socialism” has succeeded. There is a plethora of information available to you where you can see exactly where socialist approaches to public services in government is great. This is especially true when talking about healthcare and education. Ask yourself when Bernie Sanders (or anyone) has said if he is president the US will become a socialist country? He has been fighting as a democratic politician his whole life. Ask yourself what geopolitical contexts make us anything like Russia/Cuba.

Education in Finland is excellent. Australia has Cuba developing their literacy program right now, because their approach to literacy programs and public education was game changing.

I don’t have a “chosen media outlet”. You are quite the projectionist. Have you ever considered working at a theater?

Want to talk about how many people have died at the hands of corporate capitalists? I know, I know, you don’t.

In fact... the death count for that is already in the 100s of millions. Keep trying troll. I have the time.

Italy has strong employee benefits and a health care system that meets the needs of its people. It is ranked 2nd best in the world. France is number one for healthcare (or as you prefer to incorrectly label the goal “socialism”) Other countries in the top tier: Singapore, Spain, Japan, Austria New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Greece, Hong Kong, Japan, Finland, Luxembourg and the UK are some examples.

The US is ranked as 37th in the world. That is embarrassing and a PROBLEM we could easily fix. But we chose to protect other interests instead (billionaires). Are you a billionaire Awesome_jedi?

Hey Timber...you can save your condescending attitude for your parents and kids, because culturally I imagine that’s how you roll.

You probably went to a shitty school and didn’t go to college and have a limited understanding of world history, economics and especially US history so I will forgive you for your ignorance and pray for you.

Do take a look sometime at how slavery was the basis for the economy here in the country you live (you do live here right? Lol). And then tell me how it was socialist at that time. Obviously cancer only kills socialists. But it’s cool because I hear Biden’s gonna cure cancer dontcha know! So we’ll all be fine. Phew!

Points are all above. No need to repeating them or entertaining more of your troll bait. You will need to have enough to catch some actual fish so you can survive these upcoming crazy socialist times.

It’s not my fault if your literacy level and comprehension is off for your age. Perhaps there’s a specialist in your network for that. If not maybe you can get a basic income payment from the Trump administration to help with the extra costs, coming soon to a voter near you 🤣
