Are we cannibals due to the fact that we eat other mammals?

Cannibals are organisms that consume other members of its own species, not kingdom. We're not cannibals for eating chicken.

Ok, I see your point, though I will point out the fact that it is classified as a different kind of fish, hagfish, lampreys, cartilaginous fish, ray-finned fish, and lobe-finned fish. Sharks fall under a Cartilaginous fish. While I see that its still a fish. Saying that it eating fish is cannibalism, is like saying us eating a cow is cannibalism because we're both mammals. Cannibalism is the act of consuming another individual of the same species as food, which means it would only be cannibalism if it ate another shark of the same species for example a great white ate another great white. Which I'm pretty sure they would do if it was injured or dead, so I'm not saying sharks can't be cannibals, but that's not what the meme is saying. Don't think I'm trying to dis the meme I still think its funny and thought provoking. These memes are for trying to make you think and that's exactly what I'm doing. Thank you for commenting and pointing out my mistake though! I hope you get my point, but if you don't that's fine.

Um... there is one type of shark that has two places where the babies grow, once they are about to be born, the strongest of each place eats all its other siblings. And, as soon as they are born, mother sharks only see their kids as food, so the baby sharks must flee before their other devours them, as with all sharks. Commonly sharks do fight and not so commonly eat each other, but normally seals are on their diets. I do see your point, though, and that's cool. You are right, cannibalism is the eating of another one of the same species. I'm not saying we should dis sharks for that though, 'cause sharks are kinda the glue of the underwater ecosystem. Thanks for making me think ^^
