Health care or health insurance?

That's a fair distinction. It is intended for a US audience. Do the wealthy have/need health insurance or do they pay for their own healthcare when they need it. (Or maybe a combination of both) What happens to people who cannot afford health insurance, have limited insurance due to pre-existing conditions or cannot insured at all?

No one is denied emergency medical treatment in the USA. So everyone here has health care. No they cannot run to the doctor for every paper cut or sniffle but they are not without health care.

Another misuse of terms by the media and political weenies to trick people.

So the individual who was recently tested for coronavirus and presented with a $3.5k bill - his insurance will leave him owing $1.5k - is innacurate? How many people will avoid being tested because they can't afford the amount their insurance doesn't cover.
Does "emergency treatment" count as health care? What about PAP screening? Mammographies? Preventative screening is incredibly important in the UK.
