I was told this story by a survivor and escapee of the revolution. Once Fidel was in power and schools were widespread, teachers would take note of what stories the children told and pass that information along to party leaders who would then conduct midnight execution raids on any parent suspected of potential opposition. To this day, Cuban citizens are wary of their nearest kin and have learned through fear and intimidation to keep their innermost thoughts to themselves......Please tell your story.....
