Taking your guns, "buying them back ..." it's all just semantics.

You didn't read the quote in my meme? He actually said this.

Last I checked he's a Democrat. And he isn't the only one who has said this type of thing. They want to take your guns because they believe they have the right to do so.

C'mon now, Spurs. One quote taken out of context doesn't make an argument. If I sold you my motorcycle, you'd take it, wouldn't you?

1) I didn't take his words out of context. He said them and I heard them. You can't misconstrue what he said.

2) It isn't a "buy-back" program because they never owned them in the first place. They're mine, not theirs to sell back to them. And it isn't their job to make sure I don't have them.

You're providing an isolated quote from a speech without providing the rest of the speech. How can you say you're giving the context?

We all know that an isolated quote can be misleading. The simple fact is that Dems want to reduce the number of automatic and semi-automatic weapons in the general population to reduce the number if mass shootings. Anyone familiar with US history knows that most Americans would never give up their means of self-defense to anyone. So when your leaders say The Dems want yore guns!, they're getting you to follow the NRA game plan. Think on it, my good man.

I suppose I could copy/paste the link to the entire speech, but what good would that do? If you or anyone else really wants to see and hear it they can look for themselves.

And this is their rhetoric. Their actions speak volumes and their actions prove they don't just want your automatic weapons. And you realize that almost all guns are semi automatic, right? A .44 Magnum is semi automatic. Semi automatic means it shoots as fast as you can pull the trigger. They want to regulate and in most cases ban them as well. They have said this ... many times.

And anyone familiar with US history knows what happened to the British when they tried to come and take them. The 2nd amendment was created to protect all other rights in the Constitution when the government decides it wants to squash those rights.

Rest easy then, because no one is going to try to disarm you or the rest of the country. The idea that they'd try to do so is outrageous. Would Congress allow it? No. They want to be reelected. Would the Supreme Court allow it? No. It'd be unconstitutional.

How can you all be worried about that, but not a president who does whatever he pleases?
