Now that I think about it, there was this time in like fifth grade where I thought this guy liked me but I didn't say anything about it and now he's dating my friend (er, trying).

Can't speak from experience. Most guys I thought liked me made it pretty obvious. Hope you didn't get your hopes up too much but maybe there's hope?

I'm not entirely sure, but even if that were the case, it would not even remotely be my first rodeo.

Well, I'm not 100% right yet (he hasn't said anything). Yes, I do like him. It's kinda weird because it's not a typical crush, I just like being his friend, and I was afraid of losing another guy friend. Albeit the last one I "lost" is still a friend (he and his wife are a couple of my closest friends), but obviously our friend dynamics changed a bit.
