In my defense it's a heavy wet snow

It all depends on what you're used to :)

Snowfall totals have been dropping for years. 20 years ago when I bought my house we had back to back 2 foot snow storms. This year the biggest was about 8 inches and melted to nothing in January.

Can't say I'm used to snow here, but we're seeing it more regularly than we would have years ago. I live in the west so it's usually too wet here for it to lie.

We had a couple of weeks heavy snow last year, and people went completely crazy, buying up all the bread, milk and water from the supermarkets. You'd swear they were preparing for an apocalypse. Pretty embarrassing when I think of it.
