My Love-You took something from me that was very valuable. Something I rarely allow out.You pretend and promised to take care | My Love-

You took something from me that was very valuable. Something I rarely allow out.
You pretend and promised to take care of it, to protect it.

I trusted you would cherish it and with it, make it even more precious. I trusted you would polish it, keep it clean and pure. So much so that it would grow and shine brighter than ever, like a rare never before seen diamond 💎

Instead you chose to do the opposite. You mocked it, pushed it off. Hid it under some trash. When you were bored, you picked it up only to throw it back down or put it away in a dark musky drawer.

As time went by, it became dull and grey. No more shine to see.
Dusty, smudged with dirt and grime. Faded out to black, when what once was so brilliantly stunning to see.

You shame it into worthlessness. An ugly misshaped piece of coal. Blackened, chard until it finally lost its soul.

When all was left was fragile and cold with but a small amber still smoldering, hanging on for a little bit of air.

In your palm, you gripped it taught. Choking it until it was lifeless, naked and bare.

Such a shameful thing to see. Useless, without life. Then you crumbled it up into pieces of dust as it blew away in the night.

Forever lost, forever gone.
