Jack Sparrow Being Chased

Andres leaned against a cannon, looking bored out of his mind. He was tapping his foot impatiently, waiting for something interesting to happen. Anything, really, besides another day of seeing nothing but water everywhere...

“Hey, you. Will the ship move soon?”

Cannon: yo. Can you not lean on me?

(Adam sat, eating an orange he recently grew.)
"mmmm. sho good!"

Mythic sees something in the distance: BRITS ON THE STARBOARD SIDE!

“Woah woah, please. Calm. Down.”

"oh boy!" (Adam chucked the orange off the ship) "time for some action!"

“I think you dropped this.”
He raises the orange on a frozen platform.

"Nah, I meant to do that. you can have it you want!"

“Typical.” He said, turning the ice platform back to water.

Flower goes to attention, and looks over at Chompy, then the starboard side. "Well then." she said, pulling out a dagger just in case. "This oughta be fun."

Mythic pulls out his coconut gun and grins: FIRE THE CANNONS!
Chompy howls

Flower pulls out a match and sneers, "Aye aye Captain!" she said, lighting the fuses.

Chompy jumps in the water, and swims towards the enemy ship

(Adam carries the cannonballs to the cannons.)
"oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! this is exciting!"

Frost seemed to have a slightly triggered look.
“Will this ship move already?!”

(Adam hummed a tune, using his devil fruit powers to fix a crack in the crow's nest.)

"Adam. What is the sky like?" Nathan called out from below.

(Adam looked to the sky.)
"Ummmmm, blue. with some big, white, puffy clouds, and it looks like there are some gray ones on the horizon."

Nathan took notes. "Thank you, Adam."

(Adam smiles happily.)
"Don't worry about it!"
(Adam, not paying attention to what he's doing, accidentally makes a sapling sprout from the crow's nest.)
"oops."

"What's wrong?" Nathan called out from below.

"N-NOTHING!"
(Adam tries to tear the sapling off of the crow's nest, but to no avail)
"D**n stubborn thing, aren't cha?"

"Let me help." Apparently, Nathan climbed up to the crows nest. That fast.

"wow. you got up here fast for a non-fruit user."

"Correct. They are my scrolls. Yet I do not control Fate, it merely shows itself to me, and I appeal for change when needed."

(Adam cocked his head confusedly.)
"But aren't the future the same thing?"

"The future is not set in stone until it happens. You have much to learn, Adam." Nathan smiled (or more precisely, turned his usual flat expression a little happier).

(Adam smiled back.)
"wow. I could use smart people like you on my boat!
y'know, when I get one. Only a matter of time I suppose!"

Nathan actually smiled this time. "Fate favors those who fight for their futures. Keep dreaming on, little Adam." He climbed down the crow's nest.

(Adam, pleased with his work, makes an apple grow from his hand and begins eating it.)

"I have my ways, Adam. As does Fate." Nathan looked at the sky in front of him. "The Storm will be upon us soon...." He muttered.

(Adam looks at the impending storm.)
"Bet it has something to do with those your reading."

Nathan shrugged, "It's a talent." He then looked at the sprout. "That's the problem? Well this is an easy fix." He took his pen and slashed it at a high speed. The sprout got cut off.

(Adam was appalled and confused. the plants he could make grow were harder than steel. how'd he cut it so easily?)
"How'd you cut it so easily!? that could've easily stopped a sword, and you cut it with a pen!"

Nathan stopped at the middle of the net and looked at the horizon, the wind whipping at his pale face. "The time will come..." He continued.

“You there. I can’t tell if this ship is movin’. Is it?

Nathan dropped down. "The sails are opened. The wind is blowing. It should be moving."

“Good to know.”

(Adam looks below.)
"Yeah! It's a fine day to be sailing, too!"
(he takes another bite of his apple.)

“I’m only here because I like ice tho.”

(Adam looks at Frost confusedly.)
"How can you like the cold? It's so...well, cold!"

“It doesn’t bother me unlike the warm sun does.”

((The cold doesn't bother him anyway-))

(Adam looks curiously at frost.)
"How does the sun bother you?"

“Too high temp.”

"Oh. but It's not too hot today! The sun is beaming down on us juuust right."
(Adam looks to the sky and sighs.)

Nathan, on the other hand, seemed a little distressed at the weather. "Why did it have to be today?"
