As a parent, I would rather me do the spanking. I don't know how teachers would handle certain situations and judging by some teachers in the inner cities, I wouldn't trust them to not go too far. But I agree, there needs to be something done drastic. A lot of these "kids" are from one parent homes (usually fatherless) and it shows.
