What makes me sad is that, even if it's not a human currently, you're taking the life of a future human. One that could've lived to be a great person.
Other than that, what if they survive?
It'll be torment knowing that you weren't wanted, even before you were born.
And sometimes, they still get abused and unwanted AFTER they get born....
It's sad and unfair....
