Q: What do you call a self-loathing, useless idiot who cannot justify their place in the food chain?
A: Vegan.

Self-loathing? I'm not self-loathing. Useless idiot? I'm not an idiot. Cannot justify their place in the food chain? I do justify my place in the food chain. I know that humans are somewhere near the bottom, as herbivores, as there are predators like lions who predate us and who don't have any problem with killing. How do you feel about animal cruelty?

Humans are omnivores at the very top of the food chain, which is EXACTLY why I correctly described you as a self-loathing, useless idiot. Animal cruelty is a crime and I will agree with you on that.

Aha, so, you believe that animal cruelty is a crime but you think that you're at the top of the food chain? If we were indeed at the top of the food chain, wouldn't we have no qualms about killing innnocent animals? Wouldn't we salivate whenever we saw animals being murdered rather than disagree with it?
If you disagree with animal cruelty, why are you buying it?

Perfectly honest, I don't understand why he uses 'self-loathing' as an ad hominem.
A lot of people probably do have a level of confidence problems and self-hatred. I think him using it as an insult is downplaying on something which could be a serious impact on mental health.

Honey? Do you classify the bees as animals?

Yep. What would you class them as?

I thought they were an insect of sorts but never an animal.
They collect plant materials after all {pollen). However,, as you know plenty of plants depend on bees and other insect's to survive and so what can that mean if plants require insects, humans and other animals to ensure their survival. The bees specifically ensure by their foraging that many a plant will have its survival ensured by pollination..
So I cant grasp at this point how you're exploiting bees on the same level as even eggs being eaten which the Animal reproduces wholly within.

So, insects are a type of animal and they feel pain, just like we do. You're right, plenty of plants do depend on bees and that's actually one reason why the honey industry is so bad. You see, they kill the bees in the honey industry when it gets to winter, as it costs them money to keep the bees during a season when they can't produce honey. Because of this industry, we then have fewer pollinators and could end up with only four or five types of plants left to eat if we continue to consume honey.
Also, are you aware of what happens to the bees in the honey industry? They cut the queen bee's wings off because if she leaves the hive, the other bees will leave. Then, they artificially impregnate her with a long rod so that she will make more bees against her will. The bees are basically trapped in this exploitation and pain of being stunned by gas and having their food taken from them.
What if this was us in their position?
Also, are you aware of what happens in the egg industry?
