You said "the Church".  There is only one church and that is all Christians from the first century.  So when you say "the Church" you're saying Christianity, period.  You may not have realized it, but you did.  "Mother" Teresa was a catholic nun and did nothing for "The Church"

It's the Biblical view.  Mormon's are not Christians so I doubt they would agree with it.  Most Baptists would of course.
