The Nazis didn't do much gun control. That's a propaganda point from American gun nuts. The gun laws were mostly on the books from the Weimar era and if anything, the Nazis loosened the rules so that their paramilitia - the SS - could be legally armed.
Like you say it was on the box and they loosened it for the state not for the individual if it’s not for the individual it’s going to control

No! Listen carefully: the SS were a civilian paramilitary with origins in the Freikorps. They were the individuals with privileges in participating in state enforcement.
Ok It was on the books by another group of Statist . What is legally armed? Either you have the right to the defend yourself or you don’t.

If you're going to insist on black and white thinking then it won't make sense to you. Self defence and stockpiling munitions are, of course, not the same thing.
