Being a far sided optimist is bad

One thing I learned is don't put your faith into people because all they will do is disappoint you. And if you do, don't blame the person for failing you, blame yourself for thinking they wouldn't. Instead put your faith into God, because no matter what he will never disappoint you. An Example was when he was leaving to go to Florida to live with my uncle. He said that he will come back, and spend time with us. Guess what, it's been 4 years and he hasn't kept his word. Now that's just the meaning of disappointment...

Actually. There isn't an opposite. Realists look at things how it is, optimists look at life in the brighter side and are more of the dreamer kind. Pessimists are the opposite of optimists.
