Vivid? Yes, horrifying? Eh...no. But those kind of dreams, my mum always has.
I mean. I rarely even have dreams or nightmares.
Most of the ones I had as a kid were just weird. What was also weird that I predicted the Charmed reboot in one of em. Weird, right?

Sleep SUCKS in my family.My mom has narcolepsy,my dad has idiopathic hypersomnia.The problem is every child has either sleep apnea,Idiopathic hypersomnia,or insomnia.
According to my dad, I have an odd kid of idiopathic hypersomnia and insomnia,meaning:

Daytime naps that do not relieve drowsiness

Difficulty waking from a long sleep , and I may feel confused or disoriented ("sleep drunkenness").

Increased need for sleep during the day even while at work, or during a meal or conversation.
Usually this mean increased sleep,but insomnia only lets me sleep about 6hours a day.

Oof. Your dna is messed up in other words... And I though I was the one who's scewed with cancer running in both sides of my family.

My mom is medically trained,and my dad's a doctor,so over the years we have been told about EVERYTHING.And yes,we do have bad genetics(Aspergers,autism,Schizophrenia,Bipolar,Dementia,alcoholism. And extreme drug abuse.) These are on both sides of our family.

Yeah...I dont really like to sleep because of them, which is why Im so sleep deprived....though theyre more along the lines of vivd newly made flashbacks so IDK if that counts....

For the past days, I fell asleep last midnight,and I keep thinking about them.

Im sorry....hm...if you give me a bit, I can look some stuff up, and see what you can do to make them go away. Ive been having my dreams for about 12 years already.....I dont want anyone to have to experience anything similar....

Well, that probably means (in the dream) that you dont feel like youre in control of your life at all, and you feel like its spiraling out of control. My best thing to help is 1. I can help with your HW, so if you send me the papers, I'll help you work through it. 2. Try and send letters to your dad, or something like that...sorry, I dont have military parents, so I am not the best....

I'm not stressed with homework,my problem is kinda stupid:
Everyday,I wake up exhausted,I help in the library or school store,and then I start class.Everyday we have to do essays,assessments,4 squares(https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four_Square_Writing_Method),TDA's,and so much more.Because the whole class was a little behind,our test kept piling up,and we had 3 major grade tests yesterday,and have 3 quizzes and 2 assessments through this Friday to next tuesday.
I just feel a little overwhelmed,but it doesn't stop when I get home.

Wrong about four square.We get a text based on someone's opinion,write a TDA on it,explain there thought and perspectives.It has to be a minimum of 3 pages,and we get 40 minutes...

Yes, I've had really bad ones before...

Seriously a problem,and a reoccurring one.

I'll be minding my business ,and then the dream starts:
I appear in a car(not remembering anything)driving on the freeway. Im in the driver's seat,and the car is going literally 117 miles an hour everytime.No matter what buttons i press,or times i slam on the breaks,it sustains speed.The whole car starts shifting,and i try to scream,but i physically can't.I feel my heart pounding,and the car gets faster.After i try stomping on the breaks,i hear my parents voices screaming at me,my friend seem to be standing in front of the car,and then a flash and they're gone.The entire car flips,and at the moment hat im supposed to die, i wake up in a cold sweat on the floor.

I've had this dream so many times,and it scares me.I have always slept only 6 hours a day(approximately),but, i find myself sleeping even less.

Vivid no horrifying yes in my dreams making it nor seem real then really real makes it more horrifying
