I TRIED to draw and color a Christmas Cat.

I'm sorry it looks so bad, I tried but it's been so long since I last drew, lol!

It's ok. Trust me I have seen worse. My little brother gave me nightmares because of something he drew. This was actually recent. All I'm going to say it was very... Interesting shall I say. And it scared the shit out of me.

Lol, was it of a monster? Like a really scary one? I really want to be an author and a paranormal investigator (specifically investigate demons in the paranormal field) and I know that if little kids are drawing scary draiwings that are usually detailed, there is usually something occuring, since smaller children are more open to the paranormal and this 'sixth sense' as I call it, kind of fades as people grow, so you should look at any scary drawings because I really love the paranormal and know a lot about it.

My brother is like a prodigy at drawing considering he is barely three. He drew a female. He made it so the eyes were pitch black. But she was throwing up blood and was screaming. I had a nightmare the lady he drew was screaming for me and she was evaporating. I always knew my bro was a good drawer but I had nightmares for weeks. I was scared my mom was going to see it and have my bro go to a therapist. So I destroyed every piece of that paper and swore I would never talk about it again. Most three year olds watch paw patrol and things like that. Not my brother, no. He even draws better than me!

Well, that's good that he's a good drawer, but not very good that he's drawing that kind of stuff. But practice makes perfect. I used to go to art class, but then my art teacher moved and I can't go anymore now. I'm pretty sure your drawings are good, too! :)

You would think that I was decent but you should see what he draws. That must suck that your art teacher is gone. My elementary school art teacher was so mean. She would call me chubby and make sure I failed my art assignments. She got fired though.

What the hell was wrong with your art teacher, man? Jeez, that's rude. Good thing she was fired, but I am pretty sure that even if you think your drawings are terrible, I'm pretty sure they are really good! Maybe you can ask your brother for art lessons? I actually once won an art show at my school for a peacock made with oil pastels. I have it hung up in my house. I have a bunch of drawings in the basement but I don't draw as much anymore. Here are some tips and rules of art for you:
1. Do construction shapes to do your base and get a basic understanding how your drawing should be constructed.
2. Always color in the same direction.
3. Use different shades of the same color for shading, but blend them instead of just pressing harder just for shading.
Hope those help, that's all I can think of/remember at the moment.

Thank you for the tips :). I draw well but I just freestyle it. I don't have any type of method or anything I just draw what I feel or how I feel. Some drawings turn out fantastic! Most look like something out of a sewer. I will definitely keep these tips in mind :)
