One of my oldest online friends had a brain tumor and when they removed it he lost his memory of why we were friends. We talked a few times as he had my email address and wanted to know why he had it. But it had changed and we quickly lost contact. One of the most bittersweet moments I have had online.

Another friend fro the same time was in Turkey and after the attempted overthrow we never heard from him again. I fear he did not make it.That still hurts too.
