For dinner, it depends on what we are going to eat. If we eat chicken, I go to the hen house, and take the chicken that is the most annoying...yeah, maybe I do take away the loudest ones, so what? But, I kill it, de-feather it, and cook it. I usually flavor it with herbs and butter, and slow roast in until dinner.
If its mutton, I get a sheep, and cook it. If we have mutton, we eat dinner later than normal, so I save it for special occasions. I flavor it will citrus.
If its beef, I get a cow and decide what to cook. If its ribs, I flavor it with barbecue sauce. If its steak (any steak) I cook it with some butter. Since the cow is a big animal, I usually save the rest of the meat for the rest of the week.
If its pork, I treat it like I treat the cow, though I usually am able to cook the whole thing for dinner.
I like to bake sweet things, so theres always dessert for dinner. I make cookies, pies, cakes, tarts, everything. I know how to bake all sweet things. So I make something like that for after dinner.
Here in my house, we dont do leftovers or waste food. If you take something, you eat it. Of course, I also know portion control, so I only cook what I know we will be able to eat. If you dont finish something, we give it to the pigs. We dont throw it away or put it in the fridge.
