The template is from a film called ‘They live’ (1988) it’s a bit of a cult classic.
The premise of the film is that aliens have stealthily taken over the world and now use subliminal propaganda messages ( as you can see in the template ) to make humans docile & stop them from thinking.
The only people who can see it are those who have given themselves to the alien overlords, the Two heroes of the film & a freedom fighters group ( the latter two using special glasses to do so.
It was meant to be a swipe at Regan era capitalism/consumerism.
Anyway I think the point I was making is 30 years after the western world has sold its soul to being to consumerism, 24 hour mass media, easy credit, & hedonism there are now very few people with good imaginations of their own left.
It was just a off the cuff joke/swipe at the modern world and not at you. ( this is the fun stream after all ).
Maybe this you meme would be better framed in ‘The think tank’ stream as .. If you where to write a story what would it be and how would you shape it.
That way you could encourage people in the comments to start on and share those stories.
