Joker Makeup

I dont really like makeup, it kinda melts in the heat over here..... besides, I got to work outside a lot so if I start sweating it gets kinda...redundant. Also people tend to notice me more when I have no make up on and I dont really like attention all that much.... it makes me nervous....

I can't stand the stuff, it's like I have plaster on my face and I don't put that much on, sometimes I forget and just start rubbing my eyes and then I look like the living dead. and lipstick is pointless to me, it comes off almost immediately or on the rim of my cup. I can tolerate it for about an hour, I wonder about some women who won't leave the house without it and can go all day.

Yeah! Finally someone who gets it! Ugh, its like lipstick if waxy, mascara is oily and foundation is just...heavy. Its all so uncomftorble, and why even bother with it? Ugh, plus when its hot and it starts to melt.... urg, its such a pain to clean up to be honest...

Cold and wet is how it could best be described. We get a few hot weeks in summer but It's nothing compared to what you would be used to in Texas :)

I like foundation, mascara and lipstick when I go out, or if I just feel in the mood at home. The exception would be powder; I dust a bit over the bridge of my nose before I go to write at the computer as it helps my glasses from sliding down.

Really? Ive never heard of the powder glasses trick. Though, I suppose it does make sense, you know given the way this worlds physics works. Thats a pretty good tip, and I think I will use it! Thanks!

My glasses are always sliding down my face especially in the hot Texas weather. Do you use just a makeup powder that matches your skin tone or baby powder. Thanks for the tip!

From what Ive found, baby powder is better, though it does kinda stand out a bit more, so you should probably use that more at home.

That's interesting, I've never thought of that before :) I've never been able to find a foundation that I actually liked. None seem to suit my pasty white skin 😆. When I'm making an effort, usually I go for a little mascara and lipstick. Any particular shade you fancy?

I understand, I have very fair skin, too. Shade wise I typically go with the following (change it up every now and then of course) : foundation - Cover girl cgsmoothers (Buff Beige ), powder - Cover girl CLEAN MATE pressed/oil control (Buff Beige), mascara - Maybelline Great Lash (Brownish Black), lip sticks - Maybelline (Plaza Pink) or Wet n Wild (Breeze).

I have no idea what even half those words are-

I haven't really worn makeup in a long time. Too much of a hassle. But when I did, hoooo boy, did I find joy in it. It's just... fun. In fact, I still wear it for special occasions or if I'm acting or something.

Lol, I've been in a few theatrical productions (local). Hellooooo pancake!!!

While I rarely wear it, I'll confess it does feel nice sometimes to doll up up for special occasions :)

Lol, thanks I don't really think of myself as being pretty but I'm still happy with the way I am :) I'm sure you're a nice looking girl as well. You just need a little more confidence in yourself ;)

Uh...the best way to say what I look like is that picture, only I dont have a hat, and I have heterocromia. Brown and green eyes, and that Im a girl.

I know a guy with one brown and one blue eye. I think they're really cool and I'm sure yours are too ;)

Ah, thank you. I dont usually get complemented on my eyes.... I usually hide one with my hair like the picture above becasue people tend to stare kinda...angrily?

Ah, thank you Non! I also have pretty pale skin and my hair is a really light brown... theres also some golden yellow strands mixed in, but they really only show in sunlight... so on really sunny days I kinda look like I have highlights.

I kinda have that hair, too, except it's dark brown and fades to copper

I think girls look better without it and at least people know what you really look like.

agreed, my husband's sisters all get on me for not wearing it. Although they have that beautiful African complexion that needs no makeup. I was visiting his oldest sister one time and she refused to let me out of the house untill I put some on. Well thanks for making me feel like the ugly in-law, lol

I don't wear it at all just because. I don't quite have a reason, but I never quite thought of it.

I only wear tinted chapstick,and only because it smells like cherries😁

I NEVER wear makeup unless it's like Halloween or something super special. All I have is lip gloss, eyeshadow, and blush and literally that's it. My mom doesn't wear makeup, and I really just don't like it. I don't watch other people with their makeup on YouTube or anything. It's time consuming, and I am too active for it.

It's funny because IRL most of the girls I know wouldn't be caught dead leaving the house without it.
