I have a few things to say about our top three. Look in the comments.

I have not seen much of Raydog or Socrates (Deleteallrespostwhiners) for awhile now, and DashHopes has been inactive for a year or two. I have interacted with all three of these men over the years and they all made imgflip special.

Raydog is a great wordsmith, and I always enjoyed his humor. He taught me the value of commenting back to everyone who commented on my memes.

DashHopes and I are both Canadian, so I spent lots of time interacting with him. If I commented on his memes, he would always look at my recent memes and upvote and comment back. I enjoyed that he was always so positive and good natured.

Socrates was a good teacher for new users. He used to spend a lot of time on imgflip and encouraged users to remember to look at "new" and not just "hot" pages. He also gave good advice on how to come up with inspiration for new meme ideas. Socrates may still be active on here, but I have not heard from him for awhile.

Imgflip has changed a lot in the past year. I expect it is because the membership has grown. I have been here long enough to remember when this site was more of a community. I liked the old days, but I understand that change happens and growth is good.

For all you new users: Make Imgflip great again.

Well said. I had so much fun with the top users when I started, so I still long for the "old days". Hopefully, we can get there again. :-)

I like to think that they are lurking around as alts and still making memes. I'm not sure if that's the denial or the bargaining stage of grief.

Raydog was like a dad to me I remember when he upvoted a lot of my memes and some point I tried the same on him he taught me the value of meming and some I will always remember him by is when he said that one day I will become #1 so my goal is to keep my promise

He is a great memer and also a great member of this community. He has only been gone 3 weeks, so maybe he will come back.
