I had an old car where you could do just that. Now, because of styling, you can't. I can barely see out of my back window at all, and the hood slopes down so I can't see those corners either. I wouldn't dream of trying to parallel park it in a tight space.

Agreed. I can remember being able to see all around me car and where the front and rear ended. My car was bigger too, so I wouldn’t attempt tight spaces anyway. :-)
